Roxanne St. Claire: Kill Me Twice

You have a twin sister who is perfect. She is never late etc.

One day, she asks you to fly to where she now lives. But when you arrive, she doesn’t pick up the phone. Never mind, you head on over to her apartment.

When you get there, there’s a bodyguard waiting for you, who mistakes you for your twin because he’s not actually met her. This bodyguard was hired for her by her boss, who’s worried about stalkers.

You’re a private investigator. Your sister’s gone. There are stalkers involved. Don’t you think that there’s something wrong with the picture?

If you’re Jasmine Adams, you don’t.

It ruined the whole book for me.

This rates 3 out of 10.

LMFAO!!!! That sounds horrible. Maybe she was an amateur or pretending she was a private eye. LOL.

Ah, have you read the Romancing the Blog post from today? (http://www.romancingtheblog.com/blog/?p=729) ‘Cause Alyssa rants about being completely fed up with bodyguard romantic suspense plots. You two should meditate together. Or burn a pile of bodyguard romances. Something nice, you know. ;p

I don’t read a lot of bb stories anymore. They just seem so boring.

Mailyn, I had no idea what she was thinking. If you ask me, the issue was that she wasn’t thinking!

I saw, Bev. I commented, and this was the book I had in mind. I just didn’t name it. LOL.

Angelle, I picked this book up because I had something in mind, but it’s not going to pan out now.

Personally, I loved the book but even more tne second one of her Bullet Catcher series Thrill Me To Death, it’s wonderful. She weaves, thrills, chills and a cast of characters to die for. Roxanne St. Claire is a marvelous author, one to be respected.

I highly recommend Hit Reply as well.
