The Stupidity Multiplier

This is the multiple by which ones stupidity increases that is inversely proportional to the number of like-minded people one has.

The Multiplier is inversely proportional (for the not mathematically inclined, this means that as the number of like-minded people increases, the value of the Multipler decreases, and vice versa) because if you had a lot of like-minded people, a lot of people wouldn’t think you’re stupid.

And that’s how you calculate the your Stupidity Quotient: how many people think that you’re stupid?

Therefore, if there are lot of people who think that you’re stupid, then the multiplier increases.

Now, if I were you and I understood this, I’d probably call the shrink. ASAP. Or drink lots and lots of alcohol to explain why you understood this.

My head’s spinning (I bet the Tour Manager’s geeky enough to get this), but I will say that a lot of people around me are surprised when they realize I’m not stupid. Guess I put on a good act.
