Wednesday Web Wanderer

As promised:

Lara Adrian’s interview is up, together with my review of Kiss Of Midnight.

The Must-reads:

In my world, any book written by Paperback “She With Many Names” Writer is a must-read. Therefore, the release of Night Lost is wonderful news, even though I’ve read it, as it means everyone else can get to read this wonderful wonderful book too. *beams* Jane gives it a B.

Misa Ramirez talks up Brenda Novak’s On-Line Auction to Benefit Diabetes Research.

Via Jules Jones. Laura Baumbach had her promo material confiscated because of the gay content.

Booktalk

Sarah Weinman posts the Arthur Ellis Award shortlists and the Gumshoe Award winners.

Dannetteb interviews Shanna Swendson! Via Nalini Singh.

Ranting in Reviewland

Via Mindy Klasky, check out Critical Mass, the blog of the National Book Critics Circle Board of Directors.

One of the Triple Threats takes Romancing the Blog by storm: Kassia Kroszer wants to know, “If not you, then Who?

Via MJ Rose, Motoko Rich asks “Are Reviewers Out of Print?” Our above-mentioned Triple Threat comes to the fore again.

I was actually going to put this in Romancelandia, but you know, someone went all Ranty McRant, so here you go: Jane discusses the Kathryn Falk/Ben’s Wildflower to-do.

Boy, we book people sure are a contentious lot, aren’t we?

Site-seeing

Marianne de Pierres, author of the wonderful Parrish Plessis books, has a new blog/site.

Coming soon… On Friday, Katie Chandler, the star of Shanna Swendson’s Enchanted, Inc series, visits the blog!

May - thanks for posting the link the Laura Baumbach’s blog about what occurred at RT. I’m off on a redhaired rage over it but would rather know that kinda crap is happening than live in ignorance.

You’re welcome, Rhian. And I feel the same way.
