As promised:
My application to the Richelle Mead School of Writing and Publishing. I’m waiting on pins and needles to find out whether my application’s been approved.
The Must-reads:
Shannon Stacey reunites two people who were never lovers, but played them on the high school stage⦠And after you read this, please comment to tell her she has to finish it for our reading pleasure. *g*
And Ezmerelda, Shannon Stacey’s muse, rebels again!
Bloggers Elsewhere:
Amanda Stevens on Alison Kent’s blog. Contest ends today for a copy of Amanda’s The Dollmaker. I ‘met’ her on MySpace, and have been looking forward to her book ever since.
One of the Celebrate Romance! organizers, Karen W, guestblogged at DearAuthor about their recent convention.
Book Love:
Jane likes Succubus Blues! So did I, and now we should start working on getting her to read Vicki Pettersson’s The Scent of Shadows.
Lauren Dane does The Perfect Stranger.
Sybil posts the EPPIEs awards list.
Mememe!
Yes, I’m vain, self-absorbed and conceited enough to believe that you want to stalk me. *hypnotizes readers: you want to stalk me* So…
Ilona Andrews says that I don’t ask the “stock questions writers usually get asked.” *blush* Thanks Ilona!
Speaking of Ilona, she and her husband’s got the next interview slot, so watch out for it! I think her husband is the first guy to be interviewed on this blog. Unless one of the authors I’ve previous interviewed is a man writing as a woman.
Someone with a Paid Account has been kind enough to syndicate this humble blog for LJers. Thank you, whoever you are.
And more me: The Mochi Not-Quite-Disaster.
Someone needs a slashyhug:
Meljean Brook’s weekend plans are ruined.
Next week, look out for:
More giveaways at Paperback Writer. She’s cleaning house!
My review of Saskia Walker’s The Strangeling. It was supposed to be up Friday, but I didn’t have time to finish writing it. Short version: Definitely worth picking up.
Tomorrow, I’m giving away a copy of The Perfect Stranger for Alison Kent. I also have a fabulous excerpt. I want to read this book! But I’m nice. I’m giving it away instead. *g* Still, never forget that I am Malevolent May. You will have to pay a price to enter the contest. *rubs hands in glee*

My contest ended yesterday though! Sorry folks. I got a huge mess of entries this morning but now I can’t get into my website at all (grrr). But just an FYI.
Thanks for all the other tips, hee!
Lauren
Lauren, you’re welcome! And I knew your contest ended already, that’s why I didn’t add that you were running a contest too.
Ah groovy.
You know what other book I liked? Ilona Andrews “Magic Bites” which I requested after seeing you talk about it.
The Pettersson book, huh? I’ve got it. I started the Margaret Weiss book and well, let’s just say that it’s not the best thing I’ve read in a long, long time.
I am soooo jealous! I’ve not read Magic Bites.
I read one Weis (she of Weis & Hickman, right?), and that was plenty.
I hope you enjoy Vicki’s book as much as I did. She’s made 2 bestseller lists that I know of already!
